The Seasons come and go so quickly and yet there is so much hidden in them... so many emotions and changes come with the flow of nature. What do we think of when we see the leaves floating gently down to the soft brown grounds. Or what do we think of when we see the many water droplets falling swiftly on the watery grass?
Spring is a season when people break out of their warm cocoons and feel that rush of spring fever... when everything feels new and fresh, then the outside feels like a new place. Spring is a new birth, and new beginning for those ready to start again. It's compelling for people who want a new beginning and yet it also means change that sometimes is hard to do. The lonely scenes mean change and a different life a awhile. We adjust from our warm coats to short sleeves and our winter routine slips gently to a carefree life for the season. And then Fall rolls around again bringing the leaves and colors that compel you to relax and watch. It causes us to forget our busy and chaotic lives and just live. We stop trying to fix everything and do everything and we sit back and actually enjoy what we are doing. We hibernate for the winter but we must prepare for it and that's what Fall is for. It's that calming, roving feeling that makes us love and laugh. The leaves delight out flustered faces and causes smiles to spread on our rejoicing countenance. We reminisce about the summer gone by and the memories we share... because that's all we have.
Spring is like a person waking up.. it is testing its strength. The storm clouds roll across the skies forever lost and wandering. The rain falls gently and then comes in a ferocious gust, blowing the resurrected leaves across the landscape. It whispers Summer in long groans. It is listless and lonely... forever moving. Fall is when families gather around the table for giving thanks and it's when the harvest is gathered after the hot summer. It signals the closing of an old year and it signals the beginning of a new one. Life is beautiful.
