I have started reading this book... it is amazing. It is written by a christian author and has a christian out-look through it. The queen has banned all colors from the kingdom... then she mysteriously disappeared. No one dares to sew or knit anything with colors.... except the brave Auralia who knits her garments full of color much to the dismay of the guard, Ark-Robin. She hides the bright things in the houses of the Gatherers, her fellow friends so that they may just look at them.
The author knits different story-lines together a beautiful novel of bravery and love.
There are 3 other books in the series. - Ravens Ladder, Cyndere's Midnight, and The Ale Boys Feast.
