Joel 2:18-19   "Then the Lord became jealous for his land and had pity for his people. 
The Lord answered and said to his people, "Behold, I'am sending to you grain,wine, and oil, 
and you will be satisfied". 






In our society there are so many people who are discontent with what they have and think that they NEED something else. 'Oh if only I could have that beautiful new car or that expensive house, then I would be happy'. But that is NOT that answer when you are discontent. What we need to do is think of all out blessings. We also have to trust that God will take care of us when we are in need. Notice that in the verse that the LORD does not give them some sort of thing that will make them more comfortable but only the necessities of life. The things that we need, to live. God will not let us suffer unless it is his will to do so.
If we trust in him and put our hope in him than nothing can harm us that is not his will. 

  








 The Lord roars from Zion

 and utters his voice from Jerusalem,

     and the heavens and the earth quake.

But the Lord is a refuge to his people,

    a stronghold to the people of Israel.
