Being Thankful

I was thinking about the HOT weather this morning when I woke up and it was 90 degrees and I thought that in the bible it says that God is in control of everything. So why wouldn't he be in control of the weather?
Why can't we be thankful for the HOT weather as well as the cool enjoyable weather? In Colossians 4:2 it says, "Continue in prayer, being watchful in it with THANKSGIVING." Make sense? I'm sure that all of us get's a little on edge if not angry at one another when we just want to sit down and relax. Take it easy, you know, but someone asks you to do something. You think 'Oh man, in this weather? You gotta be kidding!'
But Paul of all people says to be THANKFUL! Now surely Paul had gone through a lot worse things than HOT weather! Ha! He'd laugh at that:) Any way, God knows what is going on in the whole world. We only know what is going here or there, wherever we are. So God sends us the weather that we should have and He equips us with what we need to have in order to survive. Like, Water, food, AC, and any other things.

So to wrap this up I just want to say that when you are feeling down and HOT to just remember the apostle Paul and the advice he gives us. It always helps me when I  feel down to think that no matter where you are or your problem is, there is always something worse. And if we have Christ in our heart then we can go through anything if we remember Christ and his ultimate sacrifice for us.
